NEWSLETTER FOR
UPCOMMING PROGRAMS
The Children’s
Room offers a variety of multi-session
programs that alternate throughout the year.
Additionally, single session special programs
are also offered. A flyer is
available in the Children’s Room with
current offerings.
Please ask a Children’s Librarian if
you need additional help or information.
Please read
the information on the right about program
registration, unattended child and
attendance policies.
PROGRAM REGISTRATION
INFORMATION Registrants must present
a valid Center Moriches Library card.
Registration is done in person or online for
most programs. A friend or family
member may register for you providing they
present the barcode number from your library
card. An individual may register
two additional families. In fairness
to all patrons, registration will not be
taken by telephone.
If inclement weather delays or closes the
library, registration will take place as
soon as the library re-opens.
UNATTENDED CHILD POLICY
Library Policy States "Parents of
guardians are prohibited from leaving
chilidren under the age of ten unattended
within the premises". The staff of the
Center Moriches Library wants your child's
library experience to be happy and positive.
Please remain in the library.
CLASS ATTENDANCE
If you are unable to attend your scheduled
class, please call the library at 878-0940
and ask for the Children’s Department so
that we may accommodate a child on the
waiting list.
If a child is absent from two
sessions of a multi-session program without
calling, a child on the waiting list will
automatically be placed into the class.
